We are group led and usually meet on the second Thursday of the month in the afternoon. We are mainly interested in local history and have visited a number of local sites of historical interest including Bickleigh Castle, Hembury Fort, a medieval farmhouse on Dartmoor and Spicelands Quaker Meeting House to name a few.

Some of our group are very knowledgeable and others have very little history knowledge and have joined to learn. Once or twice per year we get together for a tea or coffee and discuss where we have been and where we would like to go next.
