Practiced and new Bridge players welcome. A great way to meet new people, give our brains a bit of a workout and
share some of the joys and frustrations of this intriguing game.

We teach the ACOL system of bidding and beginners sometimes play
with open hands as a way of developing understanding. Seasoned players help beginners so there is no need to come with a playing partner.

There is a cost to cover hire of the hall and refreshments.

The link below has help for beginners and returners, notably courses for u3a members. A stripped down version of bridge called MiniBridge is available through the u3a/NoFearBridge website. This is a good way to get a sense of some of the fundamentals of bridge play.
