Raising Money for Hospiscare
Hospiscare sent their lovely representative, Ben, to collect the cheque of the funds we raised in the Autumn quilt raffle, in September. Ben gave a short chat about the importance of fundraising and how every donation makes a difference to the charity.
Our quilt winner, Jenny, also came along with her quilt, to be pictured, along with the group of quilt makers, on the handing over of the cheque.
One of our CVU3A Photographers, Greta Edwards, kindly came along too, to do the honours of taking the photographs.
Our special thanks go to Ben, Jenny and Greta for their support.
Home made cakes and fancy biscuits from France were provided by a couple of the quilters, to go with our teas and coffees, which we all enjoyed with our guests. Thank you ladies!
