The members of the creative writing group each write a piece of work, up to 1,000 words, based on a topic which we choose between us. Everyone then reads out their writing when we meet. We are also writing an ongoing story with each member doing a short extract in turn. To give all of us time to read out pieces and have a short discussion about it, we limit our numbers to six. We have coffee and cake at the meeting.
